Bereavement Committee

The Bereavement Committee is in need of more
members to join this ministry. There are two ways
you can help:
  1. Volunteer to work the luncheon reception
  2. Help provide food for the funeral reception.

Purpose of this Ministry: To provide a luncheon reception in the Parish Hall to bereaved families, who are members of the parish, and their friends after the Funeral Mass.

Funding: Rely entirely on donations. Although it is not required, any contribution you might make would be greatly appreciated.

Goal: To provide a setting of Christian community and comfort at a time when it is needed most.

Volunteers: Willing parishioners work in the kitchen, help set up, serve and clean up. Food & Set up: Cold cuts, rolls,a large greed salad, coffee & punch are provided. Parishioners are called upon to donate hot dishes, salads and desserts. A listing of volunteers is maintained for this purpose. The hall is set up with tables and paper. We provide all other needed paper goods.

The whole process of serving lunches to bereaved families is truly a “labor of love” for us. If you can help, please call Linda at 457-8228 or Gina at 456-5766.

Please consider being part of this Ministry!
